Pillars Restaurant

A candlelit dinner restaurant at the Admiral's Inn in Nelson's Dockyard, named for the restored 18th-century stone pillars of the old Navy sail loft.

Pillars Restaurant operates inside the Admiral's Inn on Dockyard Drive in Nelson's Dockyard, English Harbour. The inn building was completed in 1788 as the Pitch and Tar House for the British Navy's Caribbean fleet, and the restaurant takes its name from the restored stone pillars of the old sail-repair loft. It serves an international, Caribbean and seafood menu, with candlelit dinner service from 6 to 11pm alongside casual breakfast and lunch options.

Pillars has won a TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice Award three years running (2023, 2024 and 2025), a distinction that places it among the top 10% of restaurants rated on the platform.
